Reawaken Reactivate and Reprise.

The year 2021 turned out to be much like the previous year, in which Covid played a major part. Travel was restricted and mixing not encouraged. It was possible however, to make a few visits away and enjoy some time exploring and walking. I just thought I should record a few photographic highlights from my visits and travels in order to remind myself that I still have a blog and that I did exist in 2021. I have set a random limit of 2 images per visit. Don’t forget to click on an image to see it in full size and detail.

All these attractions are well worth a visit, but most of the year however, was spent in the local area and here are a some of the photographs from Boro Garden and surrounds.

And then we had to record some of the birds that visited Boro Garden during the year. They are mostly the more unusual but had to include the robin and the not so welcome predator that made at least 5 visits (that we saw).

I was so lucky to see the goldcrest up near the house, they are so quick but a true delight to see. The siskin was most unusual and has not been seen recently. Flying birds escape the lens more often than not showing that we don’t practise enough. Luckily most of the birds are happy to pose and we are always glad to see a fair number passing through the garden most days.

My presentation may be a bit untidy, but I was pleased to be able to put together (eventually) a summary of my year in photos. If you have found your way to this page, I thank you for your visit and hope to be a bit more active in 2022.

With best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year to all, stay safe and take care.
